You just moved into your new house and it is time to decorate the place. What do you have in mind? Modern? Southwest? Metropolitan? No matter what I am sure it will come out fine. I know because I just finished decorating my first home.
One of my favorite rooms to decorate besides the bedroom for the obvious reasons like the 1970′s style water bed I got,(I know this tells you how old I am!) is the kitchen. I love to cook and I love to eat. OK! The fact of the matter is that I live to eat, and I eat to live! I am a closet gourmet chef. I don’t have a TV show, yet! Maybe one day and then you can say that you read my article before I became somebody famous! Oh! The pain!
There are so many things to get for that kitchen. I just got a nice set of pearl white Corelle china set for four people and it is beautiful. Along with that I got some Rodgers and son’s plated flatware. I wish it could have been sterling, but I am not rich, yet!
I got a beautiful Krups XP1500 coffee/espresso maker combination unit that just rocks. My friends come over and we drink espresso and then we listen to see who’s teeth begin to chatter first from the caffeine jolt.
This weekend I purchased a ten piece set of stainless steel All Clad cookware that I got off of the net on an auction site. It is usually $1000.00 and I got a steel at $325.00 I was expecting to spend the grand and just gave the auction site a shot. I am happy though.
This payday I am going to buy a John Boos cutting board made out of norther hard rock maple. This is the best type of wood for a kitchen cutting board. The John Boos cutting board is built to last a lifetime and will make my kitchen complete and beautiful to look at. If you are looking for a cutting board then I would take a serious look at a John Boos cutting board you will not be sorry that you did!
