If you ask the average person to tell you about the things that matter in a consumer coffee machine, the very first thing they’re likely to mention is price. Right or wrong, most consumers think first about how much a coffee maker costs rather than about performance or reliability. This is evidenced by the fact that most households use a basic drip machine to accomplish all of their coffee making needs. While many of these machines do a decent job of producing mediocre coffee, almost none of them will ever produce truly great coffee, partly because the machines themselves are inferior, but also because most people use stale ground coffee. Fortunately there is an easy way to achieve coffee greatness through the use of a pod coffee maker and more specifically, the Keurig B60.
If you’ve never heard of a pod coffee maker then you’re in for a nice surprise. These machines allow you to brew coffee at the push of a button using pre-measured pods of ground coffee. Each pod contains enough coffee for an 8-10 ounce serving, plus with many different types of pods to choose from it’s possible to enjoy a different cup each and every time. The reason I like the Keurig better than most other pod devices is that it’s highly rated among many different coffee drinkers due to its build quality and consistent performance. The Keurig B60 is built like a tank and includes many metal components that other machines simply don’t have. Plus, Keurig offers more pod choices than any other manufacturer on the market – 70 different types.
There’s a good chance of finding the B60 locally if you happen to live in a large metropolitan area, though you’re probably better off purchasing it online where pricing and selection is better. Most online retailers charge about $160.00 for the machine and many offer free shipping. Pods for the machine should be available for about 50-cents each, though you may be able to find them cheaper by looking for sales or by purchasing in bulk.
