Fios Triple Play Deals

If you have cable or satellite TV service, you no doubt already know about all of the games involved. What I am referring to is the promotional deals, the shady advertising, and the difficulty in getting a straight answer as to what service costs. Oftentimes the company makes it difficult on the employees by offering all kinds of deals for new customers, but existing customers are left out in the cold when it comes to getting a promotional deal. A new choice for some is Verizon Fios service, which follows a similar path when offering a good deal on their packages for new subscribers. The Fios triple play is the main offer which competes against cable television offers.

Competitors of Verizon like Time Warner cable have come under fire over the past several years because of their high cable television rates. Of course they also offer deals on cable, telephone service, and high speed internet when you are a new customer. It is only after the introductory offer expires that you then realize that the rate is so high. Verizon has avoided this in a small way by offering lower prices on their Fios packages for two years instead of just one. Of course they also offer the best deals for those who also sign a two year agreement, so that factor comes into play if you are considering service with Verizon.

As far as quality goes, reviews have been very positive for Fios. With an all fiber optic network carrying the signal to your home, you don’t really have to worry about bandwidth constraints like you would with a traditional cable TV provider. The other advantage that Fios has over Direct TV is that they can offer the additional services that are not available through satellite service. This makes it easier for the customer to have just one company to deal with when issues arise.
