Bible Study Lessons Teach Life’s Truths

Are you looking for spiritual guidance or the right direction to go in your life?  Are you asking questions about spiritual teaching?  Do you want to find God?  Then maybe you should learn more about bible study lessons.

Everybody reaches that point in life where they wonder about their spiritual needs are.  They would be needing guidance in search for that hope for forever and answers to different questions about life.

Here are some bible study lessons that you will learn:

1.)    Spiritual guidance cannot be attained by people alone – There is really no answer to the question, “why are we here in this lifetime?” God wants us live this lifetime knowing that we will live it to the fullest, just as he had planned. There are also times when contradiction occurs.

Jeremiah 10:23 – “The way of man is not in himself, it is not in man who walks to direct his own steps.”

2.)    Only the Bible can teach truths in life – John 17:17 –Your word is truth.  2 Timothy 3:16, 17 – “All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.”

Bible teachings stand firm in the truths of the gospel of Jesus and to the teachings of Christianity. It can also point to us ways on how to understand one’s purpose in life.  It can search for these answers in the word of God if he or she will devote his or her time in reading the Holy Bible.

3.)    The Bible explains how God created a simple life for us.  Acts 17:24, 25, 28 – God made the world and everything in it.  Life came from the living God.  Genesis 1:11, 12, 21-28 – The different kinds of life exist because God created them with the power to reproduce after their own kind (cf. Ex. 20:11; Heb. 4:4).  Genesis 1:26, 27 – Man is different from the animals because we did not evolve from animals.  We were made with unique characteristics that God possesses.

4.)    The Bible mentions how much God loves us.  Some people think that nobody cares for them, thus they become discouraged that life isn’t fair.  However, this isn’t true for God loves us all.  Matthew 10:29-31 – God cares for even the least animal, so that He knows everything that happens to it. If so, think how much He must care about what happens to us. He knows even how many hairs you have.

5.)    The Bible mentions how you can find the way to become a part of God’s family.  Many people think that it is great to be a son or a daughter of someone famous in history.  Think about how much of a gift it is to be a child of God.  1 John 3:1, 2 – God is willing to make us His children.  This indicates His love for us.  Galatians 3:26, 27 – To become children of God we must believe in Jesus enough to obey in baptism (cf. John 1:12; 3:3, 5; Rom. 6:4).

Reading the Bible gives us more than just great bible and Sunday school lessons.  They are ways to move us, to change us for the better.  As Theodore Roosevelt said, “A thorough knowledge of the Bible is worth more than a college education.”
