Improve On A Small Lanyard

A variety of small electronic devices come with wrist straps or lanyards as a means of carrying them or securing a cover or cap from getting lost. Some of them are digital cameras, GPS devices, and some cell phones. There are probably more, but you get the idea on what they are. An improvement to the small lanyard that comes with the device is to substitute your own full-size neck lanyard as the strap to hold the entire device securely around your neck leaving your hands free for other things.

The larger neck lanyards are capable of holding more than just a single item and works quite well for carrying things on day trips and other short outings. They also carry keys for a day at the beach, so you don’t need to stuff them in a swimsuit pocket or try and hide them under a towel and hope they don’t get lost in the sand.

Everyone in the family can keep their keys on a lanyard of the color and type of their choice. No more problems with losing keys or getting them mixed up and grabbing the wrong set when heading out the door. Teenage drivers will most likely choose a lanyard that shows off their independence and maturity—the latest band or favorite sports team or maybe even a future college choice.

Grandma can even get into the act and use a lanyard to keep track of her keys too. It would make a great gift to decorate a lanyard especially for her and grandkids could be designated to come up with a lanyard grandma would love.

Lanyards don’t just need to be worn around the neck, they can be looped through belt loops, or hang from a pocket with the keys inside or even hang from the rear view mirror. Lanyards serve many purposes, in many ways, but their main one is keeping things secure.
